Makah spoken history tells the story of ancient times when the Makah People, the qʷidiččaʔa·tx̌ lived in a world that revolved around the sea and land. Tribal members live both on and off the reservation and throughout the world practicing an intertwined contemporary and native culture.

Programs administered by the Makah Tribal Government include business enterprises, fitness and health, planning and economic development, education services birth to post-secondary education, environmental services, tribal enrollment, tribal housing, realty, senior program, social and family services, public safety, and public works.
